Meet Megan
Megan Oxford is the Director of Development at Freedom Dogs. She leads fundraising, sponsor relations, major events (including the annual Golf Classic), and community outreach to grow support for the organization’s mission of providing free, specialty-trained service dogs to wounded warriors.

Megan Oxford brings over 16 years of experience in marketing, communications, and event management to Freedom Dogs. A San Diego State University graduate with a background in Hospitality & Tourism Management and Event Management, she joined the organization in February 2026.

Passionate about supporting veterans and military families, Megan focuses on building strategic partnerships, increasing donor engagement, and amplifying Freedom Dogs’ impact across Southern California. She lives in San Clemente and is deeply committed to helping more heroes heal through the power of a service dog.
