Freedom Dogs Trainers: Experts in Service Dog Training Methods

Katie is Freedom Dogs' Training Program Director and a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner. Since 2011 she has led the positive-reinforcement training that prepares every Freedom Dog to serve wounded warriors.

Cathy has been with Freedom Dogs as a trainer since 2009 and is involved in all aspects of the program — raising puppies, training partner dogs, and supporting participants.

Jan has been with Freedom Dogs for 16 years and has worked with almost every dog and participant. She currently has a Partner Dog and provides ongoing support to puppy raisers. She is certified as a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, KPA-CTP.

Jeanne has been a Freedom Dogs trainer since 2012. A certified trainer with a background in animal health, she loves working with the dogs and making a difference in the lives of Marines. She is certified as a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, KPA-CTP.

Debbie has been a Freedom Dogs trainers since 2007 and formally training dogs for over 20 years. She has multiple training certifications including KPA-CTP and CPDT-KA. Debbie works with both Freedom Dog participants as well as Freedom Dogs puppy raisers.

Tom has been a Freedom Dogs trainer since 2019. He has provided caregiving for several Freedom Dogs and loves seeing the bonds formed between participants and their dogs. He is certified as a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, KPA-CTP.
