Meet Peggy
Peggy Poore is the Executive Director and Lead Trainer at Freedom Dogs. With decades of experience breeding and training Labrador Retrievers, she leads the organization’s training programs and daily operations, ensuring every service dog receives the highest level of care and preparation to support wounded warriors.

Peggy joined Freedom Dogs after attending a training seminar hosted by the organization. A longtime breeder of Labrador Retrievers through her Alpine Labradors program and the daughter of a WWII Air Force Captain, she immediately felt a deep connection to the mission.

Moved by the profound transformations she witnessed in the warriors, Peggy began donating puppies, volunteering as a trainer, and giving presentations to raise awareness. Today she serves as Executive Director and Lead Trainer, continuing to work hands-on with every dog while guiding the overall growth and impact of Freedom Dogs.
